Pa'Piong
Pa'piong Toraja is one of the dishes are popular, where
the process of cooking meat (pork, chicken, fish, buffalo) baked in bamboo. The
meat is cooked with a mixture of spices such as shredded coconut, scallions,
lemongrass, pepper, garlic and leaves Miana.
All the ingredients are mixed and wrapped in leaves Miana,
placed in bamboo-style barbeque and grilled over a fire for half an hour, until
the bamboo surface blackened or charred. A bamboo with 10cm long enough to
accommodate 8-10 wrap Pa'piong.
